ISF (Wood Floor) Check List:

  • Dry mop the floor with an untreated dust mop as needed.
  • For Daily cleaning, spray dust mop with a hardwood floor cleaner following the manufacturer's     recommendation.
  • Do not use pre-treated dust mops or floor cleaners that contain wax, paraffin, silicone or      mineral oil. Use of these products can cause adhesion problems when recoating plus eliminate the slip resistance of your finish.
  • Never use power scrubbers or automatic floor cleaning machines that disperse water on the floor (especially water under pressure). The use of scrubber machines will void the warranty on your floor.
  • Dirt, sand and grit will dull and accelerate the wear of the finish.

They have proven to be very effective on new and old floors:

  •  Give Your Existing Synthetic Floor A Boost: You will be amazed by the new look of your floor, as fresh & clean as the day it was installed.

The Simple Maintenance Steps To Keep Your Floor Looking Like New For Years as a result of our research.....

1. Daily Maintenance

1. Dust Mopping: This should be done at least once or twice a day when the floor is in use to remove dirt that gets tracked onto the floor the may grind away at the finish.

                              1. When dust mopping never use a freshly treated dust mop. This can leave the floor                                  streaked, unnattractive, and possibly slippery. We recommend that you treat your                                  mop with Hillyard Super Hil-Tone the night before it is to be used, hang it up, and                                  use it the following day.

 2. Weekly Maintenance

1. Damp Mopping: This should be done on weekly basis in order to keep your floor looking like new and extend the life of the finish.

                           1. After placing wet floor signs, mix Hillyard Clean Scrub at a rate of one ounce per                                      gallon of water in a mop bucket for damp mopping.

2.Using a clean rayon mop, damp mop entire floor and allow to dry.

                           3. If an automatic scrubber is available, take advantage of this labor saver. Mix Hillyard                                Clean Scrub at one ounce per gallon of water in the solution tank. (Use red pads                                      under the auto scrubber to scrub entire floor)

3. Floor Restoration

1. Professional Floor Stripper should be done once or twice a year (depending upon usage of your floor) - We use the best products available in the industry. Those aggressive cleaners are used to strip seal coats, to clean very dirty floors and remove black shoe marks off floor.

4. Continued Care
